DUTIES:
The Wm. Jennings
Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center is looking for individuals who are interested in
contributing to a progressive and energized service that seeks to improve
Veterans evidenced based treatment outcomes. We are actively recruiting
psychiatrists for the Mental Health Intensive Case Management (MHICM) section
to service our locations at our surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics
(CBOCs) in Florence, Sumter, Orangeburg, and Anderson.

strong academic affiliation with the University of South Carolina School of
Medicine and is one of the core training sites for the medical sc! hool. Because
the MHS trains a large number of health care professi! onals, the candidate will
need experience in developing and maintaining excellent clinical training

Tour

of Duty:
Generally Monday - Friday, Days, but could be
flexible as we serve a hospital with on-call duties required and

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BASIC REQUIREM

ENTS:
U.S. citizenship. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

D

egree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.

Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

Preferred Experience:
Board certified in Psychiatry.
